The 2022-23 NHL regular season is set to begin in October and conclude in early April.  The league is constructed of two conferences, each featuring two divisions. The Eastern Conference consists of the Atlantic and Metropolitan divisions, while the Western Conference consists of the Pacific and Central divisions.

At the conclusion of the regular season, the three highest-placed teams in each division and two wild card teams per conference will enter the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
