  • June 14: Ohtani has shortened to -239 while Judge has faded to +970. Third-favorite Alvarez is now way back at +240 in the AL MVP odds.
  • Apr. 17: Ohtani’s AL MVP odds have improved in the first six weeks of the season. The 2021 MVP is as short as +120 at DraftKings, with reigning-winner Aaron Judge still second but at a distant +700.
  • Feb. 23: Shohei Ohtani is a short +200 favorite in the opening AL MVP odds, with 2022-winner Aaron Judge second at +450.
