We are tracking the odds to win the 2024 AFC and NFC Championships all season long—also read as which two teams will play in Super Bowl 58—from the moment they open. The graphs containing NFL conference championship odds below have been generated by averaging the odds from multiple sources.

You can see the most recent odds to win each NFL conference, as well as how the odds to win the AFC Championship and NFC Championship have changed throughout the course of the 2023-24 NFL season.

Odds to Win 2024 AFC Championship

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently the favorites to win the AFC Championship.

AFC Championship Odds

To the surprise of few, the Kansas City Chiefs have opened as the favorites to win the AFC Championship in 2024. The reigning AFC and Super Bowl champions are given +330 odds to repeat as AFC champions. The Buffalo Bills are given the second-best odds to win the conference at +500.

If you placed a $20 bet on the Chiefs, you would stand to win $66 and return $86. That same $20 bet on the Bills would give you a potential profit of $100 while returning $120.

The Bengals (+550) and Jets/Dolphins/Ravens (+1100) round out the top five contenders in the AFC.

Here are some notes on the AFC Championship odds movement:

• [March 15] The Jets now have the fourth-best odds to win the AFC after Aaron Rodgers has confirmed his intentions to play for them this season. A deal still needs to be finalized, but it appears the two sides are well on their way. New York’s odds improved from +1400 to +800 as a result.
• [February 13] The Kansas City Chiefs, who are the reigning Super Bowl champions, have opened as the favorites to win the 2024 AFC Championship.

Some trends to consider before placing any wagers on who will win the 2024 AFC Championship game:

• The New England Patriots have won 11 AFC Championships, the most conference championships of any team in the NFL
• The Chiefs have won three of the last four AFC Championships
• Three AFC teams have never been to a Super Bowl: Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, and Jacksonville Jaguars
• The Patriots have won three of the last seven AFC Championships, and four of the last nine, but all came with Tom Brady under center
• No AFC South team has won an AFC Championship since 2010, when the the Indianapolis Colts did so with Peyton Manning

Odds to Win 2024 NFC Championship

The 49ers opened as the favorites to win the NFC Championship, but the Philadelphia Eagles have since taken over as the favorites in the NFC. San Francisco has the second-best odds, while Dallas, Detroit, and Seattle round out the top five contenders.

NFC Championship Odds

The Philadelphia Eagles are currently given the best odds to win the NFC. The reigning NFC champs are listed at very short +250 odds. The 49ers, who opened as the favorites this season, have the second-best odds at +425.

If you bet $20 on the Eagles to win the conference, you would stand to win $50 and return $70. If you made that same bet on the 49ers, your potential profit would be $85 and returning $105.

One of the bigger surprises in the NFC Championship odds is the Detroit Lions, who are given the fourth-best odds on the board at +1000. Only the Eagles, 49ers, and Cowboys have better odds than the Lions to win the NFC in 2023-24.

Here are some notes on the NFC Championship odds movement:

• [June 1] Since the NFL Draft, the Seahawks have seen their NFC Championship odds steadily improve. They opened at +3000, tied for the third-worst odds, but are now just +1100, which are the fifth-best on the board.
• [March 16] Since signing Derek Carr in free agency, the New Orleans Saints have seen their NFC Championship odds improve from +2200 to +1100, the fifth-best in the conference.
• [February 13] The San Francisco 49ers have opened as the favorites to win the NFC Championship in 2024, in spite of the Eagles beating them this past season and having a very young core that is basically all set to return this coming season. San Francisco has a potentially nice problem on their hands in a QB battle brewing between Trey Lance and Brock Purdy they will have to resolve.

Some trends to consider before placing any wagers on who will win the 2024 NFC Championship game:

• Since 1999, only one team has repeated as NFC Champions: the Seattle Seahawks in 2014 and 2015
• The NFC’s no. 1 or 2 seed has represented the conference in the Super Bowl nine of the last 11 years—it has not happened in two of the last three years
• No NFC North team has won an NFC Championship since 2011 when the Green Bay Packers did it
• The Detroit Lions are the only NFC team who has never won the conference championship
